La brume de l’hiver (the Mist of Winter) – is a collection of photographs of the Bungendore-based photographer, Tim Anger. On Valentine’s Day, 2008, he travelled to Paris, the ‘City of Love’ and from there to the Loire Valley, to resample the icons; the people; and the savoir vivre of France through his lens.
The most recognisable icon of France - the Eiffel tower - features in a number of his photographs. La Tour Eiffel was built in 1889 to celebrate the 100th anniversary of the French Revolution which is marked by Bastille Day. This year marks the 219th anniversary of Bastille Day. For this reason the exhibition was launched in conjunction with Bastille Day celebrations at Bungendore's Le Très Bon French Restuarant - home of the award winning Master Chef Christophe Gregoire. The exhibition will continue through until Sunday August 21st. Limited edition, framed artworks are available for sale throughout this period from the restuarant or alternatively through this website.
Prices for the standard sizes - as displayed at Le Tres Bon - are detailed in the right hand column of this page. However, enquiries about other sizes or mediums are welcomed.
